I’m a relative newcomer to The Armed but this record might edge out the others as my favorite. A bunch of their “best” songs performed as a band(s) (watch the movie of this to get what I mean). But for me the standout is “Where Man Knows Want”. There is a significant difference from the version on Ultrapop: in the last section they add a counterpoint vocal to the pummeling chords and screamed vocals that elevates an already fantastic ending to something else entirely.
